This is it. Right back where I started on May 14, 2011.
It was an interesting ride and a good challenge, this IG experiment. Trying to cram an idea into a tiny square and making people notice it certainly wasn’t easy but it was fun nonetheless.
Coming up with themes and ideas and keeping followers interested in my vision of what this place should be has had more downs than ups, I have to say. It comes with the creativity territory I guess, but it can be discouraging at times. That’s what helps me reexamine what I do and helps me push myself to do different, to do better, to try and innovate and inspire as much as I can.
There’s a lot of talent on IG despite all the noise, and it has helped shape my own visions and kept me posting whenever I felt like I was running low on ideas.
Unfortunately, I’ve come to the conclusion that this format has become somewhat limiting for me, as I’ve basically started simply going through the motions and churning out formulaic stuff. In order for me to reignite my creativity I have to move on and find new challenges. I might post on here once in a while if the urge becomes very strong but for all intents and purposes this is it.
It’s been fun. Thanks for stopping by and liking my stuff once in a while. I’ll still be around, liking everyone else’s stuff.
